The Skilled NHS Fundraiser

The Skilled NHS Fundraiser course is a comprehensive and fully implementable course designed for fundraisers wanting an innovative way of working within the NHS charity sector. It is ideal for fundraisers new to the NHS or those wanting to grow their knowledge and income in this unique fundraising sector. The course will provide you with solutions whether you’re an income stream specific fundraiser or higher-level manager.

Description

This course has been developed by Sofia Sheikh, who has fifteen years of experience in NHS fundraising at five hospital charities.  Sofia is also drawing upon the twenty-three years of experience at Fundraising Training Ltd, the UK’s leading fundraising trainers.

The course is divided into five modules

1. Data

2. People

3. Process

4. Technology

5. Empowered Planning

The programme has two elements to it:

  1. Six 90-minute online live workshops, one per Module, plus a concluding showcase of achievements. These workshops will be spread across six weeks, with one session per week.  This will allow you to absorb and apply the learning in bite-sized chunks.

  2. Eight hours of mentoring from an experienced NHS fundraising expert.  We’ll engage your mentor after the third week of the online programme.  They will be with you for a further eight weeks to guide you in the implementation of the course ideas.

The first programme will run for three months, starting in Mid-March 2025.

The programme will cost £1,880 (including VAT) per participant.
